LAST TASK: MY SOUNDTRACK

Our last task is choosing a soundtrack from a movie we like, I have chosen the Grand Piano movie.

I have chosen this music because it is the centre of the movie. The film is about a pianist who performs after a long time. The problem is than a stranger is threatening his life and his wife's, if he makes one mistake he will die.

The soundtrack is what directs the movie. It seems to be a classical piano concert but the truth is that it is the soundtrack for the characters narrative.

The theme was specifically created for the movie and it is easily recognisible because of it's similarities to Ennio Morricone's soundtrack of the Untouchables. What makes this theme memorable is that without it, the movie wouldn't have any sense. Also, it is a very powerful theme and could be easily thought that it has been made by a musician like Chopin or Mozart.

Temp music is when, while editing a movie, the soundtrack from other movie is used. One example of this, is the song Somebody to love by Jefferson Airplane. This song was used in the film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and later was used in The Cable Guy. 

My parents favorite movie is the Godfather and the song Speak Softly Love is their favorite movie soundtrack.

On the other hand, there is my younger brother. Whose favorite movie soundtrack is Hakuna Matata from the Lion King.
